Özgür Adam İnanç
Art Director, Choreographer, and Academician
A Turkish choreographer, art director, and academician renowned for his deep academic background in modern dance and ballet, extensive institutional experience, and national/international directing and choreography. Adopting a contemporary, diplomatic, and inclusive artistic language, he guides national culture and performing arts policies in line with universal artistic principles.
Education & Academic Career
Beginning his arts education at Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory Ballet Department, İnanç graduated in 1998. He received his master's degree from Istanbul University in 2003, followed by a Doctorate/Proficiency in Art at Ankara University Fine Arts Education Department. From 2006 to 2022, he contributed to the training of numerous artists as a Lecturer at the Ankara University State Conservatory.
Institutional Experience
He began his professional arts career in 1998 with the Ankara State Opera and Ballet, Modern Dance Ensemble Ankara (MDTAnkara), continuing until 2010. Bringing his on-stage performance experience to management processes, he served as Art Director and Choreographer of MDTAnkara between 2022 and 2024. As of 2024, he has been appointed as the Chief Choreographer of the General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet, T.R. Ministry of Culture and Tourism, a position he currently holds.
